The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regard to the substantial variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area daily. The services position established for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tricky to the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more means to enable the servicing of all consumers and raise usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
